The ‘Varia’ Fundacja Nauk Humanistycznych Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego has been operating at the University of Warsaw since 2013.*
The Foundation’s statutory objective is to support the advancement of the University of Warsaw’s faculties that teach the humanities as well as the University of Warsaw Museum, in particular: supporting doctoral students, undergraduates and graduates of faculties of the University of Warsaw that teach the humanities; the intensification of academic research of a multidisciplinary nature undertaken by employees, doctoral students, undergraduates and graduates of faculties of the University of Warsaw that teach the humanities; supporting faculties teaching the humanities and the University of Warsaw Museum in all their endeavours aimed at the general renovation of their material base: to provide financial assistance in the performance of their statutory tasks, in particular their academic and didactic tasks and to promote their activities and achievements in both Poland and abroad.
